Stephanie Annema, MSW, RSW (she/her)

Stephanie is a clinical social worker who specializes in providing services to children, youth, and families. Stephanie obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of New England in Portland, Maine, USA, where she completed her internships at St. Mary’s Hospital Child & Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Treatment School. She has spent the last 10 years working in Community Mental Health Clinics in both Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. 

Stephanie provides a wide range of evidence based treatments for pediatric mental health concerns including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). Stephanie also provides intervention services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is currently completing her advanced training and certification in Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders.

Stephanie practices with integrity and empathy and she is genuinely passionate about helping others. She provides a warm and non-judgmental space and she believes all youth deserve a life free of mental health concerns.

Stephanie works with IPC on a part time basis, offering evening and virtual hours.
